Being scottie obsessed is a moniker I wear proudly, you know what I’m talking about. Owning a scottie dog, I mean being owned by a scottie dog includes sporting a scottie sweater or two. I have a few gems in my own collection, like a stapler, the Dooney bag (that we all have), an awesome pair of shoes and a scottie dog tattoo. Yup I have a Pippi tattoo. Josh’s brother, an artist, created this sweet design to cover an old star tattoo. It’s Pippi but a fabulous vintage version of her.
Does your Scottie usually walk on whatever narrow surface they can? When we are at a hotel making “business” Pippi will walk all around a grass area on the concrete curb until just the right spot to enter appears. I have yet to spot a grass shark but she doesn’t believe me. She likes to walk the line.
Well I should have posted this a long time ago, like when I was still in Utah!! One of my favorite perks that this job brings is the chance to meet up with other bloggers. We have certainly made the rounds out east among the Scottie folk. Unfortunately we so rarely make it west that peeps like Albert and Jake had to wait for while. I am already a fan of Salt Lake City but now after meeting Anita and Robb it holds a special place in my heart.
Inviting us to their breathtaking home in Utah, we enjoyed an afternoon of chatting and tail-chasing. Pippi was running up and down the desks and “snow tunnel” in no time, acting like well a real Scottie.
It was definitely worth the wait for this meeting, Anita and Robb are both wonderful people. Albert and Jake are just darling. Two of the best looking fellas I’ve met. Plus who can resist a snuggly rabbit!
If you don’t already read Anita’s inspiring blog please stop by and allow her to share the piece of heaven she has found.
I just can’t help but spread this around, finally a Scottie in a commercial.
With Stuart sharing his ideas for what to get your Scottie this year, I thought we would share what Pippi will be unwrapping.
Tis the season for a new sweatshirt! Been eyeing this one for a few years and happened to get a 50% off coupon for Black Friday. So she will be sporting this fabulous and funny hoodie from Ruff Ruff and Meow, purchased in red.
It is just too cute and the perfect item for those wet but not too cold days. Josh still thinks she would rather have a snuggie.
We had a wonderful weekend visiting with our families in Dekalb. Pippi and I even had time to stop by and see the darling little Scottie named Jazzi. This is our second visit with her and she just gets more adorable. I’m convinced they are sisters, even though they are from different breeders and don’t have the same birthday.
We had a wonderful visit and I got to meet the newest addition to the family, Addy. Pippi was not the best house-guest, she snatched a bone right from Addy’s chompers!
I think that Jazzi is just adorable and could kiss the fur right off her little head. While her mom, Diana, and I were chatting the two Scotties where switching places; figuring out who’s lap they liked better.
