We all have quirks, the odd thing that just makes you uncomfortable. I of course have a travel related one. We stay in a hotel every night, however many people we meet assume that we stay in the truck. In six years I have slept in the truck once, it was awful and I plan never to do it again. It was very common when we are on tours that are open to the public for strangers to ask where we were staying. I know that it is the polite way of finding out if we were sleeping in the parking lot or if we have a host. Doesn’t matter, that really weirds me outs. For one, you Mr. Stranger do not need to know where I am sleeping and second you also don’t need to know that the truck is left empty at night. I could list all the bizarre questions that total strangers ask me, but most I just have a smart answer for. The where are you staying one always makes me uncomfortable.

I so totally get that! So – if you aren’t sleeping in the truck that means IT IS EMPTY IN THE PARKING LOT, and if you are sleeping in the truck, WHY WOULD YOU CARE? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Enough to make you sleep with one eye open – lol!
