Overwhelming!! That’s how I am starting to feel our upcoming trip to Hawaii is. We are planning to visit Hawaii for vacation the first two weeks in December. The reason for the trip is to attend a wedding on Maui but the rest it is see the gem. However I’m having trouble figuring out what else to do. There is just so much and so many options. Too many islands, too many things to do and too many places to dive.
So I’m reaching out here, please make some recommendations. We don’t have a budget yet and are really open-minded.

Big Island would suit you guys and your love of camping/outdoors. But then Kauai is beautiful and you could hike the Napali coast to Kalalau… or just sit on the beach and do nothing. Don’t bring your dive gear – I don’t think the diving is all that great…you can see pretty much the same things snorkeling there and it’s less hassle and expense. But then, that’s me. Honestly, you can’t really go wrong, so long as you avoid the overcrowded really touristy crap. Just my $0.02 worth. Sounds like it’s gonna be way fun!
