Traveling with a dog certainly has its challenges but I think Pippi is worth it. She is a very friendly little dog, minds it none to be petted, loved on or cuddled with by new people. We joke that many people asked where she is before they even say hello. Pippi certainly knows how to draw a crowd with her arroos and tail wags.
In honor of the new FDR movie coming out we have decided to let Pippi’s grooming go this month, so that she can be furry like Fala. I am aware that the film is set before Fala was born but what the heck. Pippi is usually very well groomed, we actually try different looks from time to time. She has even had a mohawk before. I don’t plan to keep her fuzzy for long but while she is in Illinois (and the cold) she will have some extra furs.
Does your Scottie usually walk on whatever narrow surface they can? When we are at a hotel making “business” Pippi will walk all around a grass area on the concrete curb until just the right spot to enter appears. I have yet to spot a grass shark but she doesn’t believe me. She likes to walk the line.
We often call Pippi, Princess. Mostly because we love her so much but she also acts like a little diva most of the time. She likes her comforts and is a bit delicate. Prefers pillows and fleece blankets to the floor. She rarely get water on the floor or even her beard when she drinks. She sits back and lets people come to her for petting. Most of all she looks like a princess. She has very soft smooth furs, for a terrier. It take little grooming to keep it looking good. She is my very un-scruffy terrier.
