It’s officially the first day of my vacation; thankfully the house has a great wifi connection. A girls got to be able to Facebook! We are staying near the very quite town of Akumal in Mexico. A mellow beach town with lots of little rental places like ours. I would not call this one little however, about twice as big as my house. The coolest part is the lagoon in our backyard; we practically have a private snorkling area. I have never tried it before but the other ladies here have, I will get lesson soon. Makes me want to learn to scuba dive!!! Might just have to take lessons in the states. Anyone out there scuba? I took hardly one picture today, but fear not I had a beer for each of you.

I enjoyed Scuba diving in another lifetime, but I still enjoy a good beer – especially Mexican beer – and a margarita once in a while too. Have fun.
