I felt like Speedy Gonzales this week, there and back in a flash! We were able to sneak of the tour for a few hours to see some family. Even with it being less then a 24 hour visit my folks were still thrilled to have us.

The visit included not only a yummy meal, ice cream and good conversation but also the quick ride in my Dad’s Hot Rod. His 64′ Fairlane has been on a winning streak at car shows this year. His newest modifications have taken titles at some Ford, Fairlane and general car shows. He even lit it up for us a few times! This is the same car that matched my wedding colors!!!
All the rushing around was worth it for lots of hugs and laughs. Makes the road a little less lonely sometimes.
