Letting Go

We are saying goodbye to our house with some permanence. We have staged it for selling and in the process cut the ties to our old life and almost all of our possessions. This was our second time home to clear things out of closets and drawers, by the end I was numb. We got some great advice before we started, throw away till it hurts. Well it hurts, boxing up all my photos and Scottie dogs hurts. Furniture started to go this trip, we have reached the point of no return. Once the house sells we will be tramps, storing a few things with family but with no roots.
