While most people I know were off for the day we had an event on Memorial Day, think about all those places you went and the ones who had to work. It was not a total loss, the event we did was a huge success, as you can see by the crowd the attended the ceremony. There were speaker, dedications and all sorts of lovely patriotic fun.
The Marine Color Guard was a favorite of mine, it is had not to proud.
The best part was our location, just outside of one of the loveliest gardens i have ever seen.
And I mean just outside, those are my front doors.
