There’s going to be a wedding

I received this lovely text message over the weekend from my childhood friend Jessica. We have been pals from age 8. Amazing friendship, we met as youth competing against each other in 4-H, were that inseparable High School duo. When going to college we were the ear one needed when going though life changes. Now we share recipes and craft ideas. The truly amazing part of our relationship is that it is all documented. WE have been sending letters to each other all these years. We rarely talk on the phone or email but write almost every week. I swear that half the recipe cards in my collection are in her handwriting.

Now she has found love and a is starting a family. I can’t wait for the next chapter we will share.
