Coming This Week: September 21st – 27th

We have just a few weeks left with our current client for 2014, hitting two places in the lower central region.  Kansas City then down to Dallas.  The week after Dallas is a travel week to get out to California.

Song of the week: Zorba the Greek – Mikis Theodorakis, This week’s selection has led to some of the greatest movie scenes in history.  I am featuring it because last week this song came on just as Josh and I were seated at a greek restaurant.  We both immediately looked at one another waiting for something to happen.  Listen to this song while taking off in an airplane, it’s a fun experience.  A few weeks ago we saw a preview for The Paddington Bear movie, which featured this song.  I’m not sure that it is going to be a good movie but this song in the preview, made us both want to see it.

Week in Review: We had a lovely visit with The Campbells, a major reason we like North Carolina so much.   They took us to the Central Carolina Fair, who doesn’t’ like a carnival?!

Coming this Week: April 13th – 19th

I’ve been away from the blog for a while, but not off the road. Our schedule has been a bit nuts lately, hitting lots of locations. It is not going to slow down either so I’ll share a bit with you and hopefully update the calendar this week.

We are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area this week with stops all over the place. Next week is a bit slower for work with just two stops around Kansas City but we have decided to make it a bit tighter by adding a visit to my hometown over Easter weekend.

Coming This Week: January 20 – 26

We have successfully relaunched the tour for Rohde & Schwarz.  Our trip starts off in Kansas City this year.  We have a few friends who live here and will be joining us for dinner.  A perfect way to get going.  Next week we will be in the Dallas area (for five weeks we will be in Dallas and Houston).

Song of the week: Kansas City – Performed by Wilbert Harrison

From last week:  It was a blur coming back, after flying for almost a day we took a bus, then drove to Josh’s folk’s house to pick up Pippi.  The next day we high-tailed it to Detroit and loaded up the truck for what could be at least 6 months on tour.  We set out for Kansas City on Saturday and for once my hometown was on the way.  It was great to see my parents and get a little extra sleep.  Thanks for the leftovers Mom.

Coming This Week: July 15 – 21

Almost got used to “living” in Dallas, not really after two weeks I was itching to go. We will spend this week in Kansas City and depart for our week long trek to Whistler, BC. I am happy to announce that we will be stopping in Cheyenne, Greybull and Bozeman on our way there!!! So watch out WY VGs we are coming.
