While we were in Springfield there was a very special visitor to our exhibit. These are true Scottie lovers, she puts me to shame. Nan Wynne & Jim Leinecke are legendary within the Scottie rescue community. Nan works a part time job to save money for those sad cases that some into her life. They know her well at the U of I animal hospital. She is willing to take on the hardest cases. I heard of them the first time after a tale of their rescue of Gordon Lightfoot. It was an true joy to meet them, I hod to watch it or Pippi might have snuck home with them. Nan sports her Scottie pride from head to toe, including her glasses.
The world of rescues is lucky to have people like here there to care for animals truly in need of love and some time.
