Magazine Obsession

One of the reasons I love getting the mail other then looking forward to letters from friends is that we get tons of Magazines. I thought it might be fun to list all the Mags we have subscribed to in the last two years. Now I get most of them for free or at a deep discount. There are a number of sites you can join to do this. The best is a subscription site called Best Deals Magazines.

I think this all started with my mother, growing up there were always decorating and cooking magazines around. She would keep back issues in a big basket, I still pour over them when i come to visit. There are even times she sill mail a really good one to me. We have sort of used this mutual hobby as a connector, a way to open the doors to conversation when times are hard. When my Grandfather was dieing we read Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion at the hospital. we both still have subscriptions.

3. Lucky (just get it for the free stuff)
4. Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion (Amazing Magazine)
5. National Geographic (Josh’s)
6. Outside Magazine (not very good)
7. Woman’s Adventure (I pay full prise for this!!)
8. Outdoors (It was ok)
9. National Geographic Adventure
10. Victoria Magazine (I got this as a girl, save my pennies for it)
11. Tea Time (was terrible)
12. Taste of Home (thank you Jill and Zach)
