Roman Shades

Yesterday Josh spent part of his day off cleaning our office, this would be a nice point to add a picture of said room but I have is one of Josh holding Pippi while I take a picture of her wearing a sombrero. In the afterglow of this endeavor he expressed his distaste for our mini-blinds. I have always hated them, first thing I took out of all the rooms actually. Well good news for me and now a project. I am going to make a valance and roman shades for the office.

For the valance I think I will use brown corduroy, maybe a plaid or ideally a corduroy with something embroidered on it. I will have to hit the fabric store tonight. As for the roman shaded I am stumped, it might look kind of cool to have a pail, brown and tan plaid with the deep brown valance.
