Week One Over

Our first week with Willa has past and I think we are all adjusting. The first few days that Willa was here she hardly slept, which I thought was strange for a puppy. Well she has finally relaxed, she spent most of the last 3 days napping.
Pippi and Willa are warming up and she does not feel at threated.

Pippi was having some good snuggle time with Josh when… wait there are two dogs there!!

We also had my first walk/trip with the both of them. We went for a stroll around our community, to the dilight of our neghbors who wanted to meet Willa. It was a struggle but after a bit Willa just started to heal to Pippi. Our afternnon was complete after a trip to the Pet Store to get a tag made for Willa. And….

A coat, just too cute to pass up.

Willa Beans

So I just discovered today that our camera (that we have had for more then a year) takes video. Nice video too. So expect some cool stuff! Here is my first video-

Willa and my feet!

Who’s Butt is that?

Who’s butt is that?

It doesn’t look like Pippi’s butt!

Oh I know who that is……..

It’s Willa’s!!!!

Meet the newest edition to the MN Van Gelder clan, Willa. She is a 14 week old Brindle Scottie. We were able to adopt her from a family that just had to many dogs to take care of. She is Amish breed and learning her way around her new pack.

Pippi is adjusting, kind of wondering when this dog is going home and when she gets her crate back.

We have temporally put Willa in Pippi’s crate and moved the bedding to our travel crate.

This is little girl is about 7 lbs now but should grow up to be about 20.
Maybe her big sister will giver her some posing lessons, man she is a ham.
